I'm going to try giving up after the weekend. A mate tried those electronic cigs and found it helpful. Anyone tried them? Any good?

im on them fella, if you cant quit completely which i cant then they are the next best thing, cant stand normal cigs now, dont get the ones that look like fags though there shit

patches and sprays etc have about 8% success rate, e cigs about 80%, costs about £1.50 a day as well which is a bonus

Which one do you use mate? I tried the ones which look like cigs and they work for the first few drags and then are shite and they run out of battery in about ten minutes.

the biggest problem is that its a bit complicated and a lot of trial and error as you need a decent battery, nicotine juice with a flavour you like and a cartomizer(heats the juice) which gives a good throat hit

as a trial i would go on liberty flights website gets a riva 510 battery, menthol blend vg juice and smoktech dual carto cartomizer and see if you take to it

I stopped after nearly 30 years (smoked since I was about 15) one of the things that made me think about it was this

Both my Mums sisters have recently died of Lung Cancer and both were smokers

Two of my wifes aunties dies of Lung Cancer and they were both smokers

My uncle had lung cancer and lost a lung many years ago he stopped smoking, he recently died when he cancer returned to the other lung

My father in law is in remission from lung cancer he stopped smoking about 15 years ago!

It was surprising that whilst I was smoking I did not really think about the dangers

I was the last member of my family (including all my cousins) to smoke, I was also the last member of my office to smoke

Yawn... FFS sake if you wanna do it then do it. Its fuckin obvious it kills ya. But something will in the end anyway.

dont talk shite coming from you is an insult indeed

Almost 12 weeks cold turkey for me and the Mrs. Ive found it easy to quit, but the wife not so much.

I seriously believe its all in the head. All I needed was a reason and my daughter provided me with the reason.

Yes there are lots of medical reasons as to why you should stop smoking, yet there is another problem with smoking that has taken me all my life to figure out.

It fking STINKS!!!
