We lived in an old station masters house at the bottom of a hill and always the water would run down and into the railway line . They decided to build a new housing development just at the bottom near our house so the old chap decided to sell and move. Two months after he did the house flooded and was uninhabitable for over a year first time it had flooded in over 140 years
