Strange looking Spider

The last few days a spider of which i have never seen the like of before has been clung to the wall of the communal staircase of our flats
Its about the size of a 50p piece so not huge but it doesnt have a web, it has two long legs at the front and is holding what appears to be a kind of web between them as though it is waiting to throw it onto a victim.
It is a brown and yellow colour, never seen one like this and nobody will go near it, anybody any ideas?

Run like fuck?

Saw a dragonfly the other day. Reddish colour and about 4" long with a similar wingspan. Never seen one like that near us before.

When i saw the title i straight away thought of the yellow and brown spider i saw the other day.. must be the same kind. Looked like something you would see in australia or something. Squashed the fucker immediately

Now you mention it i lived in Oz for a while and there was similar coloured spiders but they had big fuck off webs, this is just pulsating on the wall like it wants to jump and throw this web between its front legs

Just Googled that, the ones they are showing are long and thin, this is fattish and hairy but is holding the web in the same way
