Stupid things football people say on TV

That daft bastard Owen said....."Caballero has hardly been in the game these first 20 minutes" on Saturday,honestly...what did the stupid **** want him to do...bring it out on his own & make a defence splitting pass(like all goalies do)or go up for free kicks&corners?...bellend
 
I feel ITV shouldn't be mentioned because it's far too obvious, at least try ffs. Funking itv

It's pretty hilarious how out of him and Neville he's the biased twat. Even opposition fans have noticed his utd love in, comes up regularly in reddit match day threads.
 
Think yersels lucky..the German comentary is absolutely appalling... It is as bias as a bias thing can be. They already have thier favourite before the game starts and its non-stop bias the whole game. Don't even try turning the sound up if Bayern are playing an English team...
When England are playing they continually call them The British..
You can watch a game...see for example Zab manages to get back and block a shot...and 5 whole minutes later the commentator will mention the action.
I swear you not...i watch an England U21 game against Italy a few seasons ago and England scored after a throwin...the TV shows the replay from another angle and the german commentator thought they had kicked off and Italy had fallen for the same trick..2-0 England...THEN spent the next 10 mins complaining that the onscreen score was still 1-0..
Your lucky..commentators over here make my blood boil.
 
"there was contact, so he's entitled to go down". No, just not true, never been true but unfortunately it's been said so many times people actually think football is a non-contact sport and that you are "entitled" to go down.

"you can't raise your hands, it's a straight red". Again, not true, just another bizarre turn of phrase that people now think is true.

"if anything, he's hit it too well". No idea even where to start with that
