Just think it's strange quoting a points tally when most talk about titles and cups. The dippers got 86 points in 08/09 under Benitez coming 2nd as well.....
 
Better 2nd half, thankfully only an (Un)friendly! Some poor defending undid us, might be time to get another decent set of full/wing backs, Sagna has been poor for us, and Kolarov, while offering a genuine goal threat, can be a bit one dimensional.
Atleast we have Yaya, Aguero, Zaba, Martin DM to come back into the team, hopefully KDB and some very promising youngsters pushing for inclusion will plug the gaps, but there will still be plenty of work to do before the WBA and most importantly the Chelsea game

Well quoting the points tally is important, as it shows how well you did? You can't majorly control how other teams do in the league (+ or - 6 points), you need luck to win the title with a low tally and bad luck to not win it with a huge total.

Pellegrini has been a cancer to our defense since day one.. Nastasic wasted and mangala can never become better with a coach that puts zero effort in our defense and kompany who is/was one of the best CB in the world is starting to loose it because of that... we need a new LB and a backup RB to zaba, not more midfielders. We should get gaya or alex telles at LB and then put viera incharge. This was the worst performence i've seen, doesnt matter if it's a preseason game, it's just not acceptable. It will be fun to see if the manager has the balls to play our best striker in iheanacho against west brom, he sure is'nt famous for letting our youngsters get a chance if it's not a preseason game #putvieraincharge

I get where you're coming from but it seems silly to quote the points tally. The special **** won the league with a higher points tally...

Also Real got eliminated in the last 16 of the Champions League, that's what really got him the sack!

No it isn't though. He was sacked because Mourinho was available and Mourinho is a Galactico and Perez loves shiny objects. That's the only reason. He could have won the CL and it wouldn't have mattered to Perez (as he's shown before).
 
I don't understand how the core of our defence remains but the same as the Mancini era however it is now 100% more shite. Under Roberto we were solid, our players took their correct positions, in general, we were rock solid. Under Manuel we're fucking awful. The space between our centre halves today was just amateur. I can't talk about the LB position considering it looked like we opted to play without one today.
