Suarez

Suarez is the second best player in the league after Hazard , granted he is a prick but he is top draw.

Neither are in the top five players in the league.

If you've watched a lot of Suarez and don't rate him highly then you know absolutely fuck all about football. Only player as good at dribbling as him (probably slightly better) is Hazard.

Not as good as Tevez or Aguero so no point
That's not the point, however. He provides a different type of threat than Tevez or Aguero. He is a penetrating player, no pun intended. He is direct and is great at beating players; in fact, one of the best.

Sure Tevez and Kun are good dribblers, but they really thrive on service. Suarez creates chances on his own. Can you imagine what he'd be like around better players?

With a player like Suarez, this tippy tappy pass it get nowhere, so send wide for a cross to short strikers shit will stop. Perhaps that's a bit harsh since we're obviously a good team but I always felt we were missing a player like this. I've been saying it on BM for a long time now, along with many others.

He's a good player, but I wouldn't want to bare all the attention he brings. The media would love derby day more than they already do, if possible.
I agree completely! I don't think we could get him, but Liverpool have shown they will sell big players historically (Alonso, Torres, etc).

We lack a spark that will run at defences and beat 2-3 players before setting up a chance or shot.

I rate him in the top 3 dribblers in the world. I rarely see players beat other players with the ease that he does.

Class player, wouldn't want him for all the negative hype he produces. I can, however, see PSG signing him for some reason.

------Ibrahimovic------
Lavezzi--Menez--Suarez

Mouth watering.

Ben Arfa, Dembele, and Sessegnon are all better too.

Wouldn't say Suarez is any quicker than Tevez, he can put on a good short burst like Tevez but is not really pacy.

Always thought of Suarez as a poor mans Tev.

It will be interesting to see if Liverpool fans would like to trade him for any City striker.

The guy has it all (skills, work rate, desire & pace ) and IF he was playing with a top 4 team he will get the credit and the praise he really deserve.

He is playing in a top 4 team! Top 4 comprising of Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool!

Well U started it! LOL

well thats just not true.
he's a talented footballer, good with the ball at his feet, decent vision.
woefully inconsistent finisher though

Suarez and Balotelli were sold for almost the same price by the way :)

And scored 29 goals each for their respective clubs. Balotelli from around 2/3 of the games.

I can only think this is a wind up.
I have just watched him play in the Europa and he was terrible.
A loathsome player.

Hahaha this cracked me up.
Suarez is widely dispised for his deliberate cheating (handball in World Cup and persistent diving), racism and previous biting of an opponent, and general bad attitude.
The press and public would have a field day if he ever came to our club. The treatment of Balo has shown how the press like to vilify us with the slightest excuse.
I would not be surprised if there was pressure from Liverpool's owners to get rid of Suarez, as soon as possible, apart from the fact they have no other strikers at present.
He has brought them very negative publicity. I would imagine they would bite our hands off to get one of our strikers or a player swap.
On his day, yes he is a talented footballer but he can also be a woeful and inconsistent finisher, as he was in the Europa game I referred to last week.
I cannot conceive our owners would bring such a character to our club.

To this day Luis maintains Evra lied about the claims and twisted the whole story but he was forced to calm it after the handshake pollava because of sponsors.

In terms of playing ability, hot and cold. The problem is the lad is a cross between a playmaker and striker. He'd be great alongside a finisher really and his magic moments would merely add to the equation.

I'd have him here for sure. He'd bring unwanted attention and would provide an easy target for the club to be shot at but as a player he's one of the best in the world on his day.<br /><br />-- Tue Oct 30, 2012 2:07 pm --<br /><br />

All about the leagues they came from and stock. Suarez was a snip at his price.

Suarez admitted calling Evra a "negro" five times even though Evra had complained to the ref about it.
He was rightly IMO, suspended for eight matches.
He was also suspended for seven matches in Holland for biting an opponent at Ajax. A Dutch newspaper called him the "cannibal of Ajax". They got rid of him to Liverpool while he was still suspended.
