Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

If that’s the case (building something is easy when you have the actual planning etc), then they got paid didn’t they? Who designed and planned the building of such things?

And how does that equate to 100s of thousand people coming here every year now?
You missed yesterday's snippet. Brunel (son of an immigrant) designed a lot of railways.

And hundreds died building the railways, so not that easy.

Yeah his dad came over and lived in the slums of London, he was a mobile upper class toff, some of the rhetoric used here is so disingenuous it could almost be called lies.

Every first world country was built by immigrant labour. It's basically the cornerstone of every thriving country we see today.

Alas, the racist, gammony God Shag the Kings in this country are too thick as pig shit to comprehend this.

FFS you're an angry little soldier.

Going well

The gvmt will attempt to clear the legacy backlog by ramping up the rule changes - like striking out the 6,000 from the legacy backlog total last month when they failed to attend an interview after being sent a letter inviting them to do so.

The gvmt probably has no idea where most of these 6,000 live coz the first address was always likely to be temporary.

This means another 6,000 without assessment looking to survive in the UK.
The gvmt then plan to increase sentencing rules for employers and landlords who might help or exploit these people.

Gvmt think it wins coz their diluted target gets closer. Everyone else loses.

Its so cynical and transparent. It’s just a game with the gvmt abdicating it’s responsibility to actually manage the application backlog and process.

Get a grip! Jesus Christ

Edit: aren’t the lawyers for the immigrants claiming they are too scared of water to be housed on the Bibby?

We are being had.
Maybe after making two dangerous water crossings ( Med and Channel ) is enough to bring on a fear of water. I know an event at a BBQ which caused someone receive severe life changing burns put me off ever attending a BBQ again similarly a near potentially fatal fall induced my phobia of heights.

Latterly Brexit with the end of the Dublin Agreement which allowed return of people to EU member states (with no mitigation plan) and the loss of EU funding for asylum and immigration activities has made the issue worse.

The other bit they omit to mention is the Dublin Agreement allowed for 70 days in transit to a final destination across all the states who are signatories to said agreement - so they could traverse across the EU for 69 days before landing on our shores - none of this first safe country bollocks they spout.

All academic now anyway as we voted to leave the DA and as such lost all its provisions and protections and have ended up with @140k "illegal" asylum seekers + 600k granted visa's all at the cost to the UK taxpayer of £bn's per week - in a country where the taxpayers moan that the services provided by the State using their taxes are crumbling - so many dumbo's unable to join the dots
