Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

So you mean like.. not letting them in in the first place?
No I don’tI mean when they arrive treating them with dignity after ther hazardous and dangerous journey, listening to their story and quickly making a decision then helping those we accept become contributors to our economy and society. Like we did before letting the back log build to unmanageable levels, then trying to demonise them and blame them for problems of the governments own making.

I expect the backlog is because of the sheer numbers. Where do you gather we get the time to listen to there stories? Are they going to be truthful? I’m playing devils advocate here. The slowing down of processing is down to soliciting which goes back to my original comment. It’s out of the government’s hands

I have no idea what you’re on about regarding Blackrock and virtue signalling.

Your second paragraph makes no sense to me either unfortunately. I have no idea why you are asking me about spending millions on hotels as if it’s something Braverman wants to do and is being prevented.

Her biggest problem is that her policies don’t address the issues that they are supposed to solve. They are there simply to stoke culture wars and wind up people like you.
Like I said. They have to put up to go through the legal process which goes back to my original point. The culture wars have been going on for years, possibly because there are two sides to every story. Am I wound up? You could possibly say that, but I’m trying to look at it as a benefit and am failing to see what 100,000s of people turning up monthly offers us as a society. If you can clarify it for me I’m all ears.

What on earth is an ESG?

I had to look it up as well, and I found an article that seems to explain it:

Hard to keep up with all the totally baseless conspiracies these days.

A little lesson for my friends on the right… I’m just a guy who’s been in many rooms with many types of people… but life isn’t full of intrigue and espionage, it’s full of people doing spreadsheets, fluffing sales pitches and saving documents in the wrong folder. The world we live in is nowhere near as interesting as you think it is, it’s incredibly mundane. There’s no illuminati controlling the money supply, there’s no Jews sat in a Masonic lodge discussing population control, there’s no Bill Gates microchips in the vaccines, there’s no neo-Marxist Larry Fink deploying some complex strategy to reach utopia.

Life isn’t that fun. It’s just fucking… bleak.

The backlog is down to the government not putting in place the correct procedures, and not financing it.Nothing else.If the numbers arriving here are too great again ask the government why they withdrew from European agreements on working together to deal with refugees, or ask them why they refuse to provide legal routes to asylum claims. All things to improve the situation within the governments control.Thats before you go into providing staff and centres to process and sort out legitimate claims.
Their answer to refuse to listen to those claims and process them just to detain them then ship them out with no care of their safety is immoral and has rightly been deemed illegal.

I didn't expect this thread to provide a source of freak show entertainment but then I should have probably lowered my expectations for someone whose musical idol likes dressing up as a Nazi onstage.

There are more people coming to the uk via legal routes. 1.2m according to a government website.

You are winding yourself up you fruitcake.
