It does feel like its all falling apart at once. fernandinho and silva both falling away this year, the clear need for CB's, the clear need for LB. Aguero's replacement needed soonish. arguably another CM. agree might not be able to do that all in one summer. Might be 2022 before we're back in title contention.

Said this in the its quiet thread:

We need a LB, RB, two CB's, a left winger and a striker.

I also think we need a new Centre Midfielder to replace Gundogan and an ageing Fernandinho, sadly.

We won't get all of that in one summer window, so two summers to rectify an ageing squad.

Not great squad management from the club.

I'm not filled with confidence that we'll get the right players given the clubs transfer deals of late, i.e. Rodri and Cancello.

Not sure on the impending need for another RB but everything else for sure.

Spot on. How do you replace Sane and Silva, Aguero and Dinho? We’ve bought some dross as well. Losing Danilo for Cancelo is among worse transfers, his lack of minutes says everything and tbf Danilo never let us down.

Agree. I think danilo wanted to leave but in granting him that request we totally skewered the business we did that summer. Sometimes city have got to be tougher and be like no you're staying for another year because we need to focus elsewhere.

I would just use the kid, Couto, who we bought for €10m in January. He's barely played any football, but lets face it, Cancelo only needed to start 6 or 7 games all season, mostly against cannon fodder in the cups. If Walker picked up an injury and we needed to play without him for a while, we could just play 3 at the back (when we bring in centre backs) if the kid's not ready or no one can fill in.

Yep, it happens because we waste windows. 2018 summer 1 player brought in, despite having loads of players to improve upon. 2019 only two with one of them pointless RB signing.

Now its falling apart as a result and we cant fix it in one window. Squad has been mismanaged since 2017

Especially as we seemingly refuse to pay more than £65m for a player. If that doesn't change then the replacements will be significantly worse unless we are very lucky.

why do people keep saying ALaba - he doesnt want to come

Torres we may get and i think eh may give us a slightly different option

BUt our main issue are left back, centre back -but our biggestissue is yet to come with Jesus looking a poor replacement for Kun
