Sunday leauge football

Anyone on here play?

I used to after I quit 'proper' football...was a good laugh but played on some terrible, terrible pitches!

i stopped playing proper football, now play in manchester saturday morning league, pretty good standard to be honest

my team of the last few years has basically just stopped (manager couldnt be arsed doing it anymore) was looking to start my own but the cost is ridiculous so looking for a new team now

I used to play for a few sides in my teens and 20's ....... i played on Hough End , Smedley Lane etc ..... never really won owt though ....... just came away with dirty knees !

Playing for High Lane again this season should be a good laugh and hopefully win something finally

I played left back for a sunday morning team, and ran and managed a sunday afternoon team at hough end. Morning team were full of drug dealers and their 'customers'. We never finished higher than 4th bottom.(at the meetings at platt lane we always got a mention for being late with our fees) The afternoon team i played just about anywhere, we won the league in our 2nd year. Not played for about 10 years though!
