Why? Has he picked up an injury since yesterday or has the manager just decided that today isn't the game for him to return?
Not sure how him not playing means he'll never play again for us - seems some leap that.

Well yeah, the staying fit part is important. Haha! I was reacting to the initial point that he wouldn't play for us again(which wasn't your post initially, just one you replied to) and I didn't understand how he'd reached that conclusion on the back of him not playing today.

i was merely postulating that it may be looking like the beginning of the end for him,
not the end itself.
i don't think he's done just yet, he's a fucking warrior.
