Now that Sunderland is one of the games being moved to Sunday for TV (3rd April) ....... in order to avoid any domestic issues ........ the dad's amongst should get in the good books early .... as its been moved to fecking Mothers day.......

with having 3 little ones I've acted swiftly and purchased a spa day on the Saturday for the "little lady" to ensure a smooth negotiation for a day on piss on the Sunday.......

Just thought I'd give the Bluemoon Dad's a heads up.

Oh ffs. I'm supposed to be going down to Wembley to watch Carlisle in the JPT final with my friends who actually support them, all paid for as well. FUCK YOU SKY/ESPN or whoever it is, planned this well so I could watch this then Carlisle the next day.

Surely its for the kids to sort something out for mothers day not the dads. Its called mothers day for a reason, its not wifey day.

;)

If I tried arguing that (even with a wink) I'd be in the dog house t'ill the end of the season.

Even so my Mrs is great ..... as long as I play by the rules ....... as I said I have 3 little ones and she's fine about me going the match and even Europe ....... just as long as I "respect" Boxing Day as a family day (so NO football on Boxing Day) and show a bit of thought when its comes to Birthdays and other "special" occassions if they clash with the football.(ie a Spa day the day before = a license to go on the piss & the match)

This thread is racist towards sons

Luckily at an early age I realised what a pile of horseshit these made up days are and boycotted them when I was young, instead putting extra effort into birthdays and anniversarys (anniversaries?).

racist ????? ....... ermm don't you mean discriminatory towards sons ? what ever that means ?

I agree with the "horse-shit" quote though ..... Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Grandmothers Day ...... all pushed to the forefront by the greeting cards companies and flower sellers .... it fills in the trading gaps between Christmas and Easter ........... but the ladies love it.
