Been looking forward to this for a couple of weeks, just had a look at the sky out of my hotel window in Cyprus, light cloud, it's due to be 'total' just before 7 local time.

If the skies clear enough I'll pop down to the coast and watch it over the sea then in for an early breakfast.

Super because the Moon is slightly closer to Earth. Blood Moon because it's red. Wolf Moon because it's in January.

Stupid fucking name. Sounds like an anime. It's a lunar eclipse.

It's starting in about 3 minutes by the way and will go through until sunrise. Totality is at about 5.30

Seems ok where I am. Might be a stupid question but you're not confusing the shadow on the Moon for cloud are you?

Got up and saw the slightest slither in Cyprus, but it was too light anyway and then went hazey.

Nah mate definitely cloudy. I could see some colouring through the cloud.
