It's to stop FIFA only earning money every 4 years.

I like it, we'll have the usual people who complain about anything new coming out of the woodwork, but ultimately it stops european clubs having to go to a tournament in December and moves it to where pre-season friendlies would have been once every 4 years.

FIFA have been pushing for the World Cup to be staged every two years. Have they shelved this idea?

Going off the possible teams who would have qualified in 2020 we'd not be there, even though we're arguably the best team in Europe & certainly the best team in the UK.

I am guessing that is being binned in favour of a full month CWC every four years, along the lines of the WC.

FIFA 2 tournaments every 4 years, UEFA 1 tournament every 4 years and 1 annually. Spread the wealth.

Just watched the first episode of Super League: The War for Football and I feel dirty. How could they cast the Slug (Tebas) as one of the good guys. ::shudders::
