People seem to be forgetting about this big lad. I believe Tevez will be off and Balotelli will become the main man. Roberto trusts this fella an awful lot and also believes he has what it takes to be the frontman.

As good as I think Dzeko will be next year Balotelli will be the number 1 striker!

He will never be the 'main' striker, he isnt built to play that way - the summer will be all about the mancini team building up Dzekos physical strength to be able to cope the the rough and tumble, he improves this even 10% and you're looking at a diamond centre forward built for the prem - balo will either play off the big man or drift wide left.

I agree with Zim on this one, balo is awesome out wide left somtimes cutting in but never the main striker imo. Dzeko, with a bit of luck will hit the ground running come august and become our spear-head. Thats if Carlos goes anyway.

Hopefully he will of realised what were all about last season and with him moving his family over will help him settle, dont be fooled, if mario is given that lone stiker role he will do the job easily but yes he is the sort of player that would rather sit just behind the main stiker or cut in from wide (more of a L/R forward than a winger) because he has one hell of a strike from distance on him. you tell me anyone else that could strike a ball from that far with that much precision in the squad at the min, (even kolarov seems to have lost his accuracy from range)

Exactly, he is one of the worlds most promising talents, barring injuries he can only improve in the prem. He now has the support of the majority of the fans and knows it obviously because of the balotelli chant, this can only help him aswel, i think hes the sort of player that does need to know that people like him eventhough he does act like a tallywacker at times. but there you go hes our mario and hopefully hes here to stay.
