if city sell say 600/700 of these packages, to the first 700 people willing to buy them, then for some european away games there will be no allocation as such.

take midjettland away 2 years ago, 600 allocation, these would effectively all be taken by the richest fans, and in many cases not the most loyal, again brighton away 2 years ago, allocation 800.

it is obvious city intend to sell out of superbia packages due to offering to join the waiting list with platinum.

those who have done their time, earnt their points honestly, but whom cannot afford the 2.5k are going to be let down big time.

methinks someone at city needs to read what the word loyalty means.

In terms of champions league away games there are going to be a lot more tickets than a few hundred. Some Superbia members will pass on tickets to others also as they might not goto every game.

Ermmm OP, in the Champions League, there are very few teams who only give 400-800 tickets away. It ain't the Europa League that is for sure.

I wonder how many people have actually been offered these tickets. I know my bro, dad and his Mrs have all been offered them, personally I cant see many people paying that amount but I could be wrong.

fair enough, finish 3rd in the group, and we are in the europa league, like i say the odds of getting a midjettland an aalborg at some point is very high, if you think we are never going to play a team again with a small away end you are naive.

money is talking, and it is wrong.

The biggest flaw surely is if we were to get knocked out of any of the cups in the early stages, you'd have paid for nothing. Has this been covered anywhere?

of course not, it's about milking money out of fans, nothing to do with loyalty or fairness.

the whole thing stinks, to earn 2000 loyalty points the true way is to have gone to about 100/150 away games, how much does that cost, but now all the effort counts for nothing, it's about who's got cash now, and is willing to stump up.

these schemes deserve total contempt, sadly it's just another nail in the coffin of the ordinary match going fan who turns up at shit games at shit oclock.

like i say mr cook should look at why the loyalty points scheme was introduced, but he wouldnt know, because he had bugger all to do with city then, he was probably watching his 1st love birmingham city.
