Branch reps got extra tickets whenever needed so I knew people who got in to the FA Cup Final v Stoke despite attending sporadically on a Citycard.

Just checked, Bredbury is £15 so i guess it varies. Is there a fee payable to City?

A fiver out of each adult membership goes to the OSC and that largely gets passed on to City and the Community.

We / Harrogate Branch charge a tenner and that helps to subsidise the coach, treble winning Tshirts, trophy visits etc.

No fee to City, the OSC gets a fiver and a pound for concessions, up to each branch then what it charges for membership.

A big chunk of the subs they goes to City goes to City in the Community, or it did the last time I checked mate

If they came out of the OSC allocation then what's the problem?

The one sure way to resolve this is to go back 15 years or so, when we were shit and often often took half our allocation for away games.

Not everyone is lucky enough to be able to afford the time and money to have a season ticket and go to every away game. There's probably no more than 1000 people in that category and I doubt anyone has an issue with them getting tickets.

Then it's a case of demand exceeding supply these days and personally I'm quite relaxed about a fan who may not have the opportunity to go to even home games regularly going to the occasional away game. As long as the system isn't being abused then we should just chill out and accept it.

I'm certainly more relaxed about away ticket allocations than I am about getting to 40 points and breathing a sigh of relief when we used to do that with 4 or 5 games to spare.

The biggest scam ever is the foreign tourists who infiltrate away ends at the biggest games, how they get tickets is anyone’s guess

You can get tickets for every premiership game taking place through travel agents specialising in sports travel, no matter who you support home or away, two screen shots I’ve just taken from two companies (there are loads) that supply packages to every game. The Celtic horizons runs numerous coaches from Ireland every week to almost every club in the premiership and a few Scottish teams.

These threads always appear when there is a high demand game like Burnley away approaching. It’s no surprise that there isn’t a thread about the thousands of tickets high points holders passed on for Istanbul. I don’t begrudge anyone using their initiative to get a ticket btw.

What gets a bit tedious is a minority of people always moaning about Supporters Clubs. Join one if they are so great. My view is that OSC Branches are nothing special. It’s just better to be a member.

There are some genuine criticisms of the OSC / Branches and then there are obsessions. If I was to make an analogy. It reminds me of the school bullies who would pick on the Asian kids (back in the day) but steer clear of the black lads for risk of getting a good hiding. Thankfully, Bluemoon has moved on from the days when attempted bullying of OSC members was common place and it’s welcoming to virtually all Blues

Yep last AGM I went to think a cheque for ten grand was presented to City in the community.

Do you give the 2 tickets to someone with 23500 loyalty points (Burnley)or whatever points that they sell out on.
If you don't,they are not being fairly distributed.

Reasonable point Chappie but the main objective of OSC Branches is to expand the fan base. Giving the 2 tickets to people on 23,500 points could be seen as failure in this regard. That said, I wouldn’t lose any sleep if all the tickets went to points.
