Supporters Club tickets

Genuine question but why do those not in supporters clubs not join especially those on low points or borderline points weather they’d get an away ticket or not

Do you give the 2 tickets to someone with 23500 loyalty points (Burnley)or whatever points that they sell out on.
If you don't,they are not being fairly distributed.
A good business does not piss off its loyal, (core) support/customers.
We are brilliant at the moment but we WILL go back to being shit. When you can't sell 2,500 for Newcastle, Southampton or whoever, you turn to the supporters clubs to shift them. It's business. That's what happened before Pep and it most certainly will in the future.

That’s assuming you think loyalty points is a fair way of distributing tickets in the first place.

I’m in a club, I’m a season ticket holder, I didn’t get a Burnley ticket through the branch (like over 90% of applicants) yet I do have one through other means.

People do whatever they can to get tickets, and there are plenty of ’unfair’ ways of doing so, not just through supporters clubs.

I applied for our local supporters club through City I’ve still not heard anything back though (maybe they don’t want me) do I just contact them direct?

I don’t think you get confirmation until yore a paid up member so what ever way that branch takes membership I’m not sure but they should end you an email telling you this

We just took 1,100 allocations for some games under different sales rules, there was no demand then from any section of support. The club isn't concerned about taking full away allocations.

With my old branch, you had to use their travel and, if you didn’t, you were further down the list for matches. People who found cheaper and better routes didn’t interest them.

That might have been because it’s very difficult for a Branch Secretary to hand tickets over to people they never meet. I’ve sorted tickets for my Branch for several years and I expect a member to attend a Club meeting or travel on the Club coach to a home game, before they are eligible for an away ticket, so I know who they are.

They may not be taking on new members.
Branch I joined this year weren't taking on new members but I was able to join as I was a member a few years back.
Couldn't get a Burnley ticket off them either before anyone asks.
