of our 150+ members, only 7 got tickets through the SC.

Is this really significant in why you cannot get a ticket?

Most of our Members get tickets through City.

Of the 2 Coaches we're taking down to Wembley (98 people) only 7 got tickets through the actual supporters club.

If you are aware of Branches abusing the system then name and shame.

My view is this - The real scum are the Corporates and The FA wbho throw their tickets around on the black market willy nilly for every random joe to go to the game... if you have enough cash - your watching the match.

Has fuck all to do with "loyalty"

You put this on another thread

"Not necessarily true.

Our branch have our own loyalty points system (one point per meeting attendance)
And for example with this FA Cup Final, 12 members applied... 7 were succesful.

So we then based the 7 tickets we got on giving to members who were most active at meetings.

I'm on the Committee of the Branch and a few times I've put my name down for a ticket and not been successful so it's a complete myth that you'll always get a ticket through a supporters club.

Other branches may operate differently."

So you received 7 tickets. Did those that were lucky meet the required criteria laid down by City? I do not recall anywhere on the criteria "Active attendees of supporters club meetings"

Mick have you even read my message?

Your holding me account for 7 tickets for Genuine active supporters of this football club.

if you really have issue with the way in which tickets are distributed why aren't you protesting against The FA and their corporate partners who will be watching this game in their thousands whilst genuine Blues won't be.

When members join our branch they have to inform us whether they are seasoncard/bluecard holders or not.

As a Branch we are unaware of their actual loyalty points tally of each member BUT the club ticket office who deal with the applications are aware of such factors.

We don't just base ticket distribution on how many meetings one has attended, other factors play a role such as how many LP's you have (the club box office do this) and whether you are a seasoncard or bluecard holder.

if I applied for tickets tomorrow for members who started supporting City last week, I can guarantee we would get knocked back and given nothing (take this from experience when I have applied for people who have had limited points tally)

Ste - I am not holding you accountable far far from it. Point i am making is your club applied for tickets, received 7 and distributed them as they see fit. I have no problems with supports clubs as i have said many times use for meetings etc but in today's day and age why cant everyone just apply IAW the criteria s laid down by the club

Wrong....

We distributed the tickets to the members who had applied through us and were successful.

Some members applied who I'm aware have limited points and aren't on cup schemes etc... They were not successful

A few kids applied through the Branch, I can guarantee some guy who's been going for the past 25yrs will have more points than a 5yr old kid...

You want to stop kids going to the matches now... Only eligible for tickets when they grow a beard.

Youre missing the point. Yes they went to your members who applied however you said "So we then based the 7 tickets we got on giving to members who were most active at meetings". That is not a criteria laid down by City?? So you have distributed them as you see fit

At the end of the day there will be plenty of members of supports clubs who did not meet the criteria s laid down by City plus many who are not Season ticket holders at the Final. No matter how you defend or anyone else defend supports clubs that cannot be fair

That is just one factor in what the criteria is based on.

You have an agenda, which is why you are focusing on this sole factor.

Why don't you focus on the other factors?

* Blue card or Season card memberships
* cup scheme
* and most importantly - the amount of loyalty points they have with City

All this plays a role....

Attending meetings is our own system we put in place to stop Jonny come latelys and people who aren't really big supporters from applying for tickets in the first place.

And at the other end of the day mancitymick and WhyalwaysSte, we are in the Cup final, some people got tickets, some people didn't. The people who did cannot be blamed for anything, they got tickets by whatever means, no one can change it, it's happened we have to live with it. Sorry guys but no amount of 'arguing' on here or anywhere else is going to change it. Let's just enjoy what we have please.

Come on City. THE BOYS IN BLUE NEVER GIVE IN, WE'RE MAN CITY WE FIGHT TO THE END. (Just not about how or why we got tickets!!!) ;-)

Banging head against the wall. I do not have a problem against supporters clubs. I do have a problem in todays day and age why we cant all apply direct through City rather than through your supports club. That way we are all on a level playing field. For the record i do have a ticket for the Final
