For our Transition Year project we had to make a survey, and i decided to do one on football supporters in my school to see how many Top 4 fans there is.
Results:

Liverpool: 289 students

Man United: 219

Chelsea: 46

Arsenal: 35

Tottenham: 13

Newcastle: 21

City: 1 (me)

Leeds: 24

Villa: 1

West Ham: 2

Blackburn: 1

Birmingham: 2

Sunderland: 8

Celtic: pretty much everyone :P

Rangers: 1

I was surprised to see how high Leeds were and how low Arsenal were. Only City fan in the school and proud of it :)

Well done proud your blue too :)
Be interesting next year if that survey changes!!!!!

That's one of the more interesting posts I've read on here

Will take a few years to change the numbers

Suppose the Keane effect has generated a few Sunderland supporters, and I'd have thought there would be loads more Utd than Liverpool fans in Dublin.

Well done Rory. A very informative post and confirmation of your uniquely impeccable taste. You should PM miami weiss, he Bellamyed some rag twat who gave him shit the day after the derby at a school in ireland

I have to admire any City fans in Ireland particularly the South as you really are up against a sea of red, kudos to you all.

I would say its more the Niall Quinn effect than Keane.

Went for a game of snooker last night and was surrounded by scum bags in rag shirts, City are definitly the minority over here, but you see the odd Spurs and Leeds fan every now and again!

The reason those teams have alot of supports goes back to the seventies when the TV signals were boosted which meant people in Ireland could could get access to the big match on sundays etc. Thats why Leeds have a decent following in the republic as they had a good side then.
