Swansea go in search of a third successive positive home result against the Etihad billionaires tomorrow."

Just how many of these have we got? There's a couple in the Dave Ewing Stand, and half a dozen in 323 but nearly all of those have given most of it away and ne'er got a knighthood. Barely enough to legitimise the use of the plural!
billions of 'em...

Anyone in the Middleton area know if the pubs are open to show this? (May sound like a very daft question, but I've lived abroad for too long and can't remember what pubs do on NYD.)

If we go 4-4-2 with edin and the beast the game is lost.
Has to be 4-5-1 with milner in middle with fern and yaya not garcia then we have a chance. Imo..

Not looking forward to this one.

Don't fancy us for the three points and a draw might be the best we can get at a push.

We have understandably looked a little leggy in recent games and Swansea are exactly the type of team who can make it very difficult for us in terms of ball retention and taking the likes of Yaya out of the equation with their passing.

As others have said, Shelvey can cause us a lot of problems running in that space between midfield and our defenders.

Silva will be a big miss and I would be a lot more confident if Aguero was on the pitch and we could at least carry that counter threat and outscore them.

A 4-5-1 with Milner sat alongside Fernandinho and Yaya playing a little closer to Nasri and Negredo.

Hope for the above, otherwise a 2-2 or a 3-2 loss.

We have played them twice at their place and haven't scored a goal as yet. We are well overdue to score against them, and give them a lesson. There have been slight signs of tiredness in the last couple of games so hope the boys have had a good rest, because as usual the opposition will treat it like a Cup final. We need to match their level of intensity and enthusiasm. If we do that then we should be too good for them.
