Should be a slam dunk 3 points for City.

However, I was looking at the betting odds and there does appear to be some value in looking at the underdogs today.

Being the mug punter I am, I couldn't resist a £1 patent on Swansea, Southampton and Spurs.

Pay out of £172 if successful. Good odds but almost certain stupid bet.

PS is there a place to discuss betting on here?

Team news

TEAM NEWS: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany (C), Nastasic, Kolarov, Navas, Fernandinho, Yaya Toure, Nasri, Negredo, Dzeko

Thoughts?

Ballsy going with Negredo and Dzeko upfront.

Hm, not sure about the two big forwards against a team like Swansea, but Manny knows best.

Given the state of the weather, maybe we've just said to hell with it and will go route one. :)

I do not think it is ballsy as in "out of the box" as he has been aiming to do this with the entire squad.
That is integrate them all so we can change things with minimal to no disruption to our effectiveness.
It is bold though and i applaud Pelle for it.

The way I saw it initially, out of the four attackers Dzeko and Negredo were meant to be the target men and Aguero and Jovetic the supporting strikers who can drop a bit deep too. So ideally, we should play one of each pair. Though I guess Negredo's work rate and Jovetic's unavailability changed things a bit. Not to forget Swansea have one of the highest possession in the league so hopefully Dzeko and Negredo will both be willing to close them down in possession.

Personally I'd have put Nasri in behind Negrado with Milner in for Silva for a bit more bite in midfield.

They've had the most possession in the PL. So a bit skeptical. That said, Yaya and Ferna have had a good rest. So we'll see.
