Which of these mid table sides do you think have the better side now?

Both strengthening a lot this summer to build on their good season last year, Southampton under Poch were a well oiled machine.

Swansea and if they get Granero, Swansea even more. Southhampton do have a great squad too though and aren't far behind, but Swansea's strike force edges Soton's.

I have £80 on Swansea to sneak into the top 4 at 150/1, looking at that side they have, I think they have a real outside chance and those odds are too tempting to pass up.

You may as well have just set fire to that £80. Sneaking into a Europa spot, maybe but it is that exact competition that could hinder them in the league this season. You are saying they could displace one of us, Chelsea, united, arsenal or spurs to get top 4. I would say they have no chance of doing that, especially with a Europa league campaign to deal with too.

Your name suits you.

Southampton have a better squad. Wanayma and Schnderlin is a boss midfield.

If the Jacks keep their players then they have a chance of sneaking a top 6 position but top 4 may be a bit of a stretch.

Their back for is excellent, we haven't even scored at the liberty yet. Only thing they lacked last season was a proper striker and they have that in Bony. They really need to sign some fringe players now to beef out their squad.

Soton aren't bad but do they need a striker as well? I know Lambert is class in my eyes and deserves a shot at England but he's ageing a bit. Add Norwich to that list as well, think they are going to give it a good shot this season.

Swansea.with a partnership of Bony and Michu they'll score many goals and their spine is stronger than Southampton with Vorm in goal, and Williams at the back.Wanyama is a great signing though he is a destroyer with a decent eye for a pass.will be interesting to watch him play with Schniederlin, that's a powerful midfield.
