Brain dead suggestion. Gundo is a top class player. Besides being one of the best CMs out there, he played as a DM against United (away), Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal. We won all 4 games and that's not even his preferred position. Gem of a player.

Just saw a link with respect to title subject and it got me thinking. If Dembele was ever available because he wouldn't renew his contract, can we have Gundo go the other way and have Dembele come to us?

This would be one of the worst pieces of business ever. Not a chance we'd get rid of a world class player like Gundogan for a has been like Dembele who at his very best was a tier below Gundogan.

I remember Spurs fans talking Dembele up as World Class in December & guess what the last 5 months he's been shite & can't get in Spurs team.
Gundagun has been v good in the last few months.
He stays fit & Germany do well he will be a far better player with us & a full season next year injury free he will be a major player.
