Could definitely see him going to United. Levy will want to offload him given his age and the fact that he has only one year left on his contract. We know how much Mourinho likes to sign players in their twilight years. Match made in heaven.
That would be the dumbest trade everJust saw a link with respect to title subject and it got me thinking. If Dembele was ever available because he wouldn't renew his contract, can we have Gundo go the other way and have Dembele come to us?
No idea if its all BS but link is here:

Thoughts....
Fomo? I sees it :)One of those players that someone said was underrated once so everyone else has to boast about how they 'see it' for fear of missing our, instead of actually watching the game
Gundogan is a great squad player to have. Humble guy and happy to be a non-starter. He is an upgrade on our previous squad options - Fernando, Garcia and Barry.
4 competitions, loads of games. Had we beaten Liverpool and Wigan we would have had a fixture pile up. No point letting a quality player like him go unless he demands it. Jorginho takes Yaya’s place. So losing Gündogan would leave us short. No point taking an aging Spurs player.Doubt he's 'happy' to be a non starter, but seeing as he's spent so much time injured, he hasn't got a gripe, yet, about it & won't be considering himself a squad player.
If we sign Jorginho or similar & Gundogan doesn't get picked enough next season though, I imagine he'll be less than happy.
