Not sure if this is being discussed in another thread but Shaun Wright Phillips said there was an almighty bust-up in the boot-room between two players when he was breaking into the first team ?

Yeah, a year after SWP broke through. Could still be him though as the article doesn't state the exact season. Probably Morrison and somebody else though as Dunne wasn't a senior pro as such then.

Haha, can’t remember who it was but someone was saying the kit man in Thailand had to rip off the buttons in the lift so he couldn’t get out and attack Barton. I wouldn’t mess with Dunne tbh.

Although I have never and will never be an advocate of violence Barton needed sorting out over that and I would have held Dunnie’s coat!
However, personally my punishment for Barton would have been for him to clean the boots of the ‘apprentices’ for the whole season.
