Bazooka Joes....remember going to the Blue John mines on a school trip and my mum gave me ( we'll say a quid ) for some souveniers. I bought 2, foot long Bazooka Joes, got a right bollocking when I got back.
Fry’s Five Boys & Fry’s Five Centres chocolate bars
Old Jamaica! That's the one!
What is this witchcraft?
And on to the Woodbines at age 10?
It wasn't a pirate on the packet (maybe you're mixing it up with Captain Morgan), but a pirate galleon.
The original bar was made up of pieces shaped like old scrolls. The bar then disappeared for many years, and then they brought it back and it was just made up of standard squares, which was disappointing.
Used to get my dad a bar of Old Jamaica for his birthday and Christmas.
Lazer bars were a tasty morsel. A kind of tizer flavour boiled sweet in a thin bar. Mid 80s to early 90s then vanished off the face of the earth. Loved cola cubes and cough candy twist(not cough candy-there is a difference, that stuff was vile) as well. But my all time favourites were and still licqourice and blackcurrant.
Only surpassed by Lion Midget Gems!!
