Sorry if this has been covered already but it really made my blood boil to learn from the official MCFC site that we may have to play our Home leg FIRST against the Danes simply because their pitch won't be ready. Surely, playing our Home leg second was one of the motivations for winning the group! If they don't have a pitch, they should play elsewhere or sacrifice the leg.

Good point! It seems ludicrous that they've begun laying a pitch when they knew there was a possibility of continuing in the latter rounds of the tournament. Typical City...some might say.

Before the draw UEFA always read a disclaimer that says something like "provisional draw, that my be altered due to fixture and/or ground conflict" So while I agree Fergie wouldn't stand for it, I think you will find that there is no ruling that will force them to do either(they my well be fined)remember that change of venue for us was 2nd leg, in other words neither leg worked for or ground.

Im amazed that the Danes are not being told to change the home venue. Why the hell would we give up our advantage. Either they switch or we go through to the next round.

Dont forget if both legs are tied, say 1-0 each to the home side, then extra time will be played, why should they have this advantage.

Time for the boys at the top to earn their crust. none of the 'top 4' would have it and if City have intentions to be on par with them, this is exactly the type of issues where they could make their mark.

Could someone with access to club management explain this business of 1st and 2nd legs. Some of the players I've seen this season are still trying to work out which leg to stand on and which leg to kick with.
