Hold on a minute! I know he's been shocking of late and shouldn't start but he should get a place on the bench for this. I don't know why he's been so poor recently but this could be just the game to get him back on track. If you can't motivate yourself for a derby then you never can. Also he always seems to roast Evra when he plays them, I remmber in the Carling Cup last year when he skimmed Evra about 4/5 times. Yet when Johnson faced Evra he couldn't beat him. Evra in the past has struggled against small, quick wingers who run at him with the ball. He's also the only player in the squad who'll understand the passion of a Manchester Derby.

I'm not saying start him, but possibly bring him on with 30 minutes to go. If he performs well it could rejuvinate him as there is still a very talented player to be found in that small frame.

Not good enough

I would think Tevez, De Jong, Barry, Milner, Johnson and Hart to name just a few all fully understand the passion of the derby. To say SWP is the only one is a very odd statement, it sounds like something that idiot of a father he has would say.

Oh give over. Barry, Tevez, De Jong, Milner and Johnson did not roam the streets as a youngster dreaming of playing for Manchester City. Get away from the naivety that players love the club they play for. Thats why I can't stand all the badge kissing etc. Its a job pure and simple and like it or not, most of the palyers came here for the money.

SWP on the other hand has been with us since a very early age and came through our academy. Its players liek him who'll feel the passion more than anyone?

Do you really think if we lose Johnson and Barry are gonna be depressed as we are? Nop didn't think so.
