Ok a lot has been said and written, and tbh, I have been really disappointed with Shauns performances since Hughes left...However it's Derby weekend, and I'd like to see him come on with half an hour to go (once we are 3-0 up!).

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see Shauny bombing down the wing and rifling one into the roof of the net (like the Arsenal game in the Carling cup..not to mention THAT derby goal)..and going on to having a great world cup.

Come on Shauny...turn the magic back on !

Sadly he's become irrelevant but I know what you mean. The 4th goal in the 4-1 really summed up their humiliation that day.

He really has to pick up his performances and I'm sure he knows that. He won't want to miss the World Cup again and it will be hard to win his place back whilst Bellers and Johnson who are in good form. It will be interesting to see if the competition brings the best out of him or he disappears into his shell like he did at Chelsea somewhat. I'd love to see him firing on all cylinders again though.

I wouldn`t mind too much if SWP started. Baconboy will order his players to kick the shit out of Johnson every time he has the ball. SWP can cover back better also when Evra raids down the left.
