Zabaleta was poor by his high standards today, but he was totally overrun in midfield. It certainly wasn't due to a lack of effort or committment from Zabaleta, that is for sure. Ireland still worked hard, but didn't really have much influence on the game. Again it wasn't due to lack of effort or committment, he just never really got going in today's match.
