It looks almost certain that SWP will be off in the next few days.

And while his time at City as a winger is clearly over, wouldn't it be a decent shout to give him a go at right full back until Boateng is fully up to speed?

He's played there before, he could give us that attacking option we are still lacking, and for home games it would give us another forward player who can actually cross a ball.

I hope we're not too hasty in off loading SWP as I feel he could do a decent turn for us at right back for the rest of this season.

Boateng will get right, he's working his arse off in training from the reports. And I agree about Micah, he will impress as well.

Would only keep him if he is happy being a bit squad player. Has give us some good memories though.

Great idea. On a separate note I think Shay would be an awesome partner for Dzeko up top ;)

Wind up of the day.

Zabaleta at right back = Yes
SWP at right back = No

I love the little lad as much as the next Blue - but personally I think he was found out at Chelsea and isn't the kind of player to break in to the starting XI of a top 4 side.

Everton can make use of him if Pienaar calls it a day at Goodison Park. Now it'll be interesting to see where he ends up.
