Reports out of City, from the medical and physio staff, suggest Shaun's injury isn't as bad as it first seemed and he could be back within a fortnight...

He's a right little soldier.

A bit of good news for the day :)

(this is from a contact at carrington and also i believe it has featured in MEN)

EDIT: Yup just found the MEN's article

Mark Hughes has given the latest injury update as the Blues prepare to travel down to face Portsmouth this weekend.
And Hughes could report better news over Shaun Wright-Phillips, who came off during the first half of Saturday’s cup defeat with a hamstring problem, which initially looked like keeping the winger sidelined for at least a month.

“Shaun is likely to be out for about two to three weeks. It’s a little bit better than we first thought because it was looking like being over a month but the hope is it’ll be two to three weeks.”
