What was the story with the torch shining on Wednesday.
Thought it was because broadcast TV doesn't like silence, and if there is more than 30 secs of silence, a failure protocol kicks in?I find clapping people who have died a bit odd anyway. It was like last week when they announced a minute silence for the Leicester chairman and everyone started clapping when his picture came up.
What a load of bollocks. If that's the case, stop the game at this time. Should be two minutes total silence for this, before the game starts.Email from club
As I am sure you are all aware this Sunday is Remembrance Sunday and marks 100 years since the end of World War One
At 19 minutes and 18 seconds of Sundays game (19:18) a minutes applause will be held until 20:18
This move is being supported by the Club and they will promote it through our PA announcer and presenters at City Sq. They will also then use the jumbo screen / clock to draw fans attention in game at the 19min 18sec mark.
Please pass this info on to all those attending

I disagree, there should be a sympathy applause for the rags tomorrow on the 8th minute
So, am I correct in thinking that we are expected to do a minutes applause twice during the derby?
Fuck knows
Has anyone else had the email from city about the 19 min?
I get e-mails from them but haven't had this sent to me.
The one on the 60 min the MEN reported but nothing official again on club site
tbf it's derby day if the ground isn't rocking singing and clapping anyway throughout then it's poor form.
