I’ve only heard two of their tracks (‘It’s my life’ and ‘Life’s what you make it’) yet they happen to be two of my favourite songs from the 80s.

He always reminded me of Tim Roth for some reason.

Spirit of Eden- completely unique record. They made some great music before SoE but that album is like no other. RIP Mark- a talented, talented man.

his long time manager confirmed - Hollis died after a short illness: “I can't tell you how much Mark influenced and changed my perceptions on art and music. I'm grateful for the time I spent with him and for the gentle beauty he shared with us.”

Saw this earlier and was shocked and saddened. One of the most underrated 80's bands, absolutely loved them, and was only listening to a lot of their stuff last night.

    RIP Mark.
