Talkin City

Why did Talkin City pack up? I often wonder if any of the more prolific posters on there (Tragic Blue, Blue Fanatic, Fleetwood Blue etc) are on here using different names. Anyone know?

Did anyone used to go on there?

The nearest equivalent to TC is Wookies Lair and a few post on there.

Fleetwood Blue was a top class poster - He started his own site for a while.

Spiv came on another non City site that I go on for a while then vanished!

Many posters from the Talkin City days (myself included) went over to wookies lair when it all went tits up. I cant remember the exact reason why it was closed but I think it was something to do with the admin getting sick of all the moaning and fighting between posters. Wookies lair was very popular but was always getting hacked by some muppets which in the end ruined it all to be honest and then people went their separate ways from wookies to here, citymancs and bluewatch.

Wookies is still running now, but no where near as busy as it used to be

edit: fuck me. Just went to see if the site was still on the internet and they have it all running again now!
