This bunch of ranting nobheads at it again....Mike Graham raving with self-righteous indignation about De Jong-Graham then states that De Jong's tackle was "as bad as Cantona" and how the FA should "make sure that De Jong is banned from playing for Manchester City for a year."

Totally ignoring the fact that the incident with Cantona was about as different as it could possibly be,he having attacked a fan in the stands....and that the ref saw and dealt with the incident yersterday at the time,with De Jong receiving a yellow card...or maybe they should just be done with it and change the rules (yet again) for a City player?

I'll tell you what though.... If it had been a league match he would have got a red and a lengthy ban! He was spared because it was the WC final... and maybe the ref didn't see any intent?

I didn't see it, but as you rightly point out Cantona attacked a fan in the crowd and got 20 odd games so nowhere near a year and since when have international offences carried over to the league(unless its something like drugs).

No doubt in my mind he should've walked last night...but the point is these twats are stirring the shit once again,making out De Jong was trying to kill the guy rather than it being a piss poor challenge-and surprise,surprise.... it just so happens to be a City player yet again in their sights for a "rule change."

The sad fact is that this is the biggest commercial radio station in the UK.
