Because Cork is a long term rag.
Stoke fan.

That's the area he comes from but I've heard him say he's a rag fan and he almost invariably takes a heavily pro rag stance on TV and radio so he's probably another Irani or Gough who supports more than one team.
Yep, you're probably right; just that recently he was banging the drum for Stoke and Pulis in particular, along with how much of a Stoke fan he is.

Lifelong Stoke fan.

Last week, Brazil had a spanish footy pundit on to discuss the possible Bale/Real Madrid move. At the end of the chat he asked him who he thought would win the PL this season - he tipped us, and the fat cnut nearly fell off his chair, couldn't grasp that he'd not said the Rags!

Never listen to Talk Shite these days but t'other half does and she said George Graham was on and was massively impressed with Pellegrini and tipped us to win the title.

He said he was a Sjoke fan several times this morning and Brazil has gone back to " davey " every other word .

Didn't someone say that it's common for Scotsmen to say that when referring to a David? Sure someone put that on here last week and apologised for doing so!

Yep, that was me! Played in a darts team during my time in Glasgow and we had two David's playing for us, both referred to as Davey. Same applied to people I worked with.

I've never listened to talksport in my life...Is it worth the occasional ecoute??

The fact you used "Ecoute" in your post means, I suspect, that you will be royally offended by the output on Talksport.

You may be wise to give it a miss.

When that happens he has a bucket handy for the involuntary bowel movement.

Mate if you've never listened to it before then give it a wide berth. It's like someone saying ive never played roulette in the bookies....is it worth a go. Addictive but really bad for your life!!

I feel this man listens to Radio 4...especially the Shipping Forecast.

One assumes that this radio station is saturated with ill-informed drivel, therefore I shall continue to ensconce my footballing brain in the confines of the broadsheets

Got it in one.
Two muppets taking opposing views on a topic just to get lots of listeners ringing in to spout more ill-informed drivel. Callers who know what they are on about don't last very long.
Somebody (and I suspect it might be someone who posts on this forum) once described Talksport as "radio for people who think American wrestling is real".

Danter and Gough chewing the fat over Coventrys demise now, fat head Gough comes out with the following gem ''you should support the team where you are brought up'' nothing wrong in that Goughy you support Barnsley so have a lollipop
What gets me about this guys statement though is that every time a rag phones in from London, Cornwall and half the known world his tongue is so far up their ring piece its unbelievable, why dosnt he every now and again say to a Cockney rag ''why dont you fuck off and support your local team'' might have some respect for his statement then.
