Was listening to it on my way to work this morning, gave me a right chuckle.


Not sure who he is, but there were other fans making calls saying Nige should be banned after that tackle on Ben-Arfa, the presenter then pointed out to a Liverpool fan that Gerrard made an even worse foul a few weeks ago by elbowing someone in the head. The caller didnt even reply and just said "Ok Bye".

Soon after the presenter went into a rant mode after getting fed up of callers saying De Jong should be banned and just said everyone should "Get Real!".

Also made me laugh with Arsenal fans making calls blaming Stoke... one Stoke fan then made phoned in and went into a "Im sick of Arsenal fans..." rant.


I usually hate that radiostation, but it gave me a right good laugh on the way to work this morning.

Alan Brazil - And he stuck up for NDJ. Basically saying there have been far more tackle than this and we are only talking about it due to the leg break, it was a pure accident. Well done Alan Brazil

Alan Brazil never has a good word about anything City but to his credit, he is quite a centre of common sense regarding the NDJ situation.

More annoying for me this morning was the interview with Neil Warnock, who comments were a load of garbage, i shall not repeat what he said but it was the usual rubbish that the bandwagon merchants have been spouting, but can anyone correct me please, wasnt it Neil Warncok who was caught telling one of his players, at the top of his voice from the sideline to "break his f*****g legs", hypocrite.

I think quite a few of the pundits are getting annoyed with this story now for a couple of reasons. Not only are they worse, there is also one big difference. De Jong doesn't go crying and arguing with the ref. I do hate him a bit for the world cup shit, that was incredible low and I lost a lot of respect for de jong. But he has never been the whiny thug type, and that is something.

No it's Andy Townsend, the same bloke sticking up for De Jong. In my opinion it's a yellow card, his foot was at the same height as the ball, it wasn't two footed, he just miss-timed it.
