But we need Barry for his forward runs, so accomodating NDJ as well could have been difficult...

Can't have him picking up any knocks before Chelsea, he'll have to work against Lampard and Essein which may be the reason for him not playing. Robbie probably isn't ready for 3 games in the same week and also need him fully fit for Chelsea.

It had to be barry or De Jong as they cant play together.
Cant believe Weiss is on the bench though, especially against an Arse youth team.

I know where you are coming from here Ricster but surely they can, just tell NDJ to play in front of the back 4, i.e. at the back of the diamond and Barry in at the front of the diamond with Stevie and Sweep on the outside edges.....but is that asking too much of the present management team??
