Just wondering if you have any ideas as I want to get some bets on goalscorers etc and hate picking anyone not playing or sub.

I expect Petrov and Bellamy to start with Robinho and Adebayor to be on the bench. No Dunne and Lescott straight in. Possibly Given will be rested.

Petrov 4/1 anytime scorer
Bellamy 2/1 anytime scorer

taylor

onouha ben haim lescott slyvinho

De jong

Weiss zabaleta Barry Petrov

bellamy

Taylor

Micah Nedum Ben Haim Sylvinho

Zab

Weiss Ireland De Jong Petrov

Bellars

Bellamy and Petrov both good bets in my opinion

So looking at the teams your picking we are not taking this cup seriously then.

we are either telepathic or the answer to the question was blantantly obvious.

isn't it money back if they don't start? a lot of times it is. depends on the bookie I guess.

You are correct but if they are sub and come on for 5 minutes the bet is lost (unless they score).

No, Incorrect.

You get your money back on anyone who doesn't play or comes on after the first goal is scored. They are treated as non-runners.

-Given-

Zab - Lescott - Toure - Sylvinho

- De Jong -

-Ireland - - Barry -
-Robbie-

- Tevez - - Bellamy -

Think it will be a strong team. 3-0 City

Need to take this VERY seriously.
This is their big day, live TV etc and it is our best chance of a trophey - no swanning around, posing like Brighton last year please...If everyone is not still waiting for the bloody Lescott press conference

I was correct as my bet (as stated on my orignal post) is an "anytime goalscorer" bet. But in terms of first goalscorer bets there is a risk your selection will appear late on as a sub in a 0-0 draw (or even a scoring game if only own goals) and you will lose your bet. A last goalscorer bet is even more risky as any appearance by a sub "counts" irrespective of the score.
If you are clever you can pick a player you know will be sub and LAY him on a goalscorer bet on the exchanges and hope he only appears for a few minutes. This is effectively the bookies advantage on all goalscorer bets for an appearing subs.

Anyone layed a player before? lol

yeh definately who would seriously play ben haim?

im thinking strongest team with 2 or 3 changes:

given

zab toure dunne bridge

bellamy barry ireland robinho

tevez ade

bench: taylor, micah, ding, petov, weiss, SWP, onuoha

surely people know that hughes wont risk it in either cup this season??
