how do you delete multiple entries of the same tunes in WM7 but keep one copy of everything ?

If it's actual dupes of the files then use a dupe file scanner, i'm sure there are free ones that do the job out there.

If it's just in your playlists, then you just need to manually sort it yourself bud or delete them all and rebuild your playlists.

I use winamp though, not sure how wmp handles libraries.

thanks TCIB. It's not me but a mate has duplicated his entire music collection 4 times over in preparation for tonights party.

could always, search .mp3 (or whatever) then sort by most recent date if you want to do it manually
