- We went to Rotherham…
Another one tonight in Greater Manchester just breaking.
The thick fucker ran into a stationary ambulance, I mean, its not as if their camouflaged or anything.Another one tonight in Greater Manchester just breaking.
Ambulances, buses
Do these kids ride with eyes shut?
No, just with their brains switched off.Ambulances, buses
Do these kids ride with eyes shut?
We've all been there - that sense of invincibility that kids of that age have.Ambulances, buses
Do these kids ride with eyes shut?
I was on Langworthy Road whilst the paramedics were doing CPR in the road and some tossers were still seeing if they could drive between the paramedics and the ambulance. A copper arrived and gave them a right bollocking, some people are unbelievable. We've all been there - that sense of invincibility that kids of that age have.
As a kid I never thought I could ride into metal at speed with wanton abandonmentWe've all been there - that sense of invincibility that kids of that age have.
I dont disagree, but why is it necessary for it to make the national headlines ? People and sadly children die from doing stupid things all the time. Parents buy their kids eBikes that are capable of very high speeds but then its all so tragic when they meet their demise, the blame as harsh as it sounds lies clearly at the feet of whoever purchased the eBike for the kid. We've all been there - that sense of invincibility that kids of that age have.
E bikes in the U.K. can only go at 15 mph.Your fucking rules are to blame. A kid of 14 can ride an e bike with no training but for a moped, which isn't that much faster and probably slower acceleration, has to be 16, have training, insurance and at least a provisional license.
E bikes are quite capable of killing both the rider and pedestrians yet they are given, unregulated, to 14 year olds with no sense whatsoever. What could possibly go wrong?
Oh and the rules are no better here, just different!
To be brutally honest I have very little sympathy for him, bearing in mind he could so easily have killed some innocent bystander instead. At some point there will be a major incident caused by these idiots that should not be on the roads, where they cause the driver of another vehicle to kill multiple innocents whilst trying to take avoiding action.E bikes in the U.K. can only go at 15 mph.
They have to be pedal assisted.
This was not an e-bike but an electric motor bike that you must be licenced to ride, be insured and have a helmet.
It wasn’t rules that killed this lad, it was his flagrant disregard for the rules.
How many people are killed riding pushbikes every year?I dont disagree, but why is it necessary for it to make the national headlines ? People and sadly children die from doing stupid things all the time. Parents buy their kids eBikes that are capable of very high speeds but then its all so tragic when they meet their demise, the blame as harsh as it sounds lies clearly at the feet of whoever purchased the eBike for the kid.
They do already but cant get near them, how do you catch? The real answer is - stop stupid fucking parents buying them. Basic responsibilityI work with this lad’s aunty. Quite sad how these accident will continue to happen due to suped-up e-bikes which can travel up to 50mph ridden by clueless kids with no crash helmets etc. The police should have the power to confiscate any e-bike they see which is travelling at stupid speeds.
If I have read the replies correctly, to ride an electric motor bike you need to be 16. The lad was 15.I'm sorry but the blame for the accident doesn't rest with the person who gifted the bike to the boy any more than it does with the manufacturer.
Accidents happen.
