A very good player, and not in the same brutality league as some in that side.
The nastiest was Johnny Giles - a great talent but did his foul stuff more subtly than the likes of Big Jack, Bremner and Norman Sniffer Clarke could look after himself, too - to coin a euphemism
I was always surprised that a clever, skilful player like Revie could become a manager who actively encouraged the nasty side of the game.
