Terry's tackle on Milner

I have no clue how that was not a straight red. Studs up, late....it was totally malicious and should be a 3 match ban. John Terry has in my mind surpassed even most of the Scum's players as the biggest scumbag in football. Is there anything he won't do?

Sleep with mother of teammate's kid - check
Attempt to break England teammate's leg - Check

What's next? Intentional own goal at World cup to truly screw England? Actually if he does it against the USA I'll be happy.
 
Didn't see the game but that is an absolute shocker.

Did he get a yellow? If not then surely this is an FA trial by TV job?
 
Oh come on.. John Terry will never get truly punished.. Definately a straight red. the ref had his blinkers well and truly on!
 
Was at the game Saturday and seeing that tackle just the once, as it happened, I though "Shit, he's off". Did look a reckless tackle and now seeing the playbacks it looks even worse. I love full blooded tackles, well timed tackles - they are a bit of a dying art, but that could have had a terrible outcome for Milner.
Love the way JT feigned injury himself - sure sign that he thought he would probably get a red card!

Still, looking pretty good for the double now, even though the whole country will be cheering on Pompey for the final - probably even Southampton fans too!!
 
It's not a typical part of Terry's game to be fair

I can think of some centre-halves not that far away from manchester who are habitually elbowing opponents and getting away with late challenges. Terry is a very hard player, but usually fair. And I admire him for his leadership on the pitch. Looks like City fans have turned against him because of the problems with bridge. But you have to rate Terry the footballer
