Just a topic aside from the usual transfer gossip.

Who was the last player to have a testimonial at City? cant really remember myself although i am thinking the goat?

Also who is next in line (Dunne?)

The Goat never got a testimonial

which was/is a fucking travesty

However the club spent years sending youth teams to Burmuda for tours and they continue to support him in trying build football there. He gets a lot of respect from City (club and Fans) but does not need a testimonial, in the sense of the old days where players played for a few bob and a steak dinner.

Know what you are saying, but it isn't all one way. Sometimes the fans deserve an opportunity to say a great big thankyou to a player.

I think a lot of the money from Testimonials goes to charity these days, I remember Bergkamp's at the Emirates, Van Basten played.

Niall Quinn gave ALL profits from his too charity. I don't agree with them for modern day players, because they earn good money. But the likes of Neil Young deserve something.

There has been Many events foer Neil Over the Years .The Sad truth is though if there was a testemonial for Neil not Many would turn up
