I think it should be given to him if and when he comes on, I also think it will be, we can all say what we like about him not being at the semi final etc, fact is he is our captain and if he responds well to being given the arm band and that makes him play better and bang a couple of goals in all the better.

If Kompany starts as captain on the field then unless he come's off he'll continue to be so. If Tevez starts Saturday as team captain he takes the armband which is how it should be until the manager decides different.

if he doesnt start tonight he wont be captain. there was a moment when zabba was captain a while back, tevez came on and told zab to keep it, so i think the same will apply tonight.
but if he starts on the bench on saturday, you can bet your last rolo, bottom dollar, et etc, that he will want it then if he comes on

I agree with this. Not only that though i dont think in the hundreds of games i've watched sombody has come off the bench gone over to the captain and requested the arm band? Stranger things have happened mind.

when he didn't show up at semi final that's when I lost all respect for. He probably didn't even watch it! I had a feeling he would leave have after a couple of seasons so the transfer request wasn't a massive surprise to me. Captain Kompany for me and if Tevez comes on and bangs one in great he is still an amassing talent.

Why? we need him right now as he is a proven match winner and our top goal scorer, yes it does look like he will go in the summer but until then he's a blue and if he does go so be it we will buy a replacement and we can say thanks for the memories, lets not forget he hates Fergie and ratboy, and yes he should be captain tonight.
