He's been fantastic on the pitch for us, obviously nobody has come close in recent years to scoring the amount he has for us this season and in this respect it would be bad for him to go.

However, with all the storys (which I am not saying are true, they are probably rubbish!) about him possibly leaving and a rift with Mancini etc..and Evra saying he stilll loves united it made me think about him since he came.

Has he ever once said that he even LIKES this club, has he thanked the fans at all, has he done anything to show that he gives a damn at all about anything other than his paycheck? For me, the answer to that question is no! I really don't get the feeling he likes it here and if thats the case he should leave, I don't care how good he is on the pitch!

We need more players like Zabba, Vinny and De Jong to put with the likes of Onouha, Ireland, Richards etc..

Why do you think Evra said what he did?

I know why Evra said it, i was just putting it down with all the other things that have been said!

Also, those 'fail' pictures NEVER get old!!!

Re: I wouldn't be sad to see Tevez go!

There is an interview on the OS when he has won one of his three Etihad player of the month awards where a woman tells him he looks better in blue and he replies that he feels better in blue, He has also celebrated goals with the fans and looks happy when he is playing and with his team mates.

Re: I wouldn't be sad to see Tevez go!

1) You can tell he likes it here through his celebrations.

2) When presented the player of the month award he says he prefers blue to red.

3) If you want to replace a guy who has scored 28 goals this season, who do you think can equal or score more than him in that position who we could realistically purchase in his place and who could afford his transfer fee and wages knowing that we're no longer a selling club?

Your post was simplistic, it wasn't not constructive criticism of a player - it was pure criticism. If you buy into all the media bollocks that is blatantly an attempt to wind us up / destabilise us in our preperations for the last three matches then that's your perogative but I will only believe anything like that when he leaves or if he announces his desire to do so.

How often to players come out and profess their love for a club? Most of them don't because they're professionals, being paid to play here, they don't have a real affiliation (it might develop over time) with City.

I'd stop worrying and let his actions on the pitch speak for themselves, he puts in 100% and scores goals, that would make me sad to see him go.
