Just wanted to remind everyone that, although sometimes it's easy to forget in these days where agents and player's rule the world, just because he hands in a transfer request means we have to sell him. He has a contract which he has to fulfill, like it or not. And if he wants to sulk we sue him.

It's not in his interests to not play well, his value and therefore subsequent contracts/ transfers will be less, even if he is unhappy.

You got personal problems Carlos? We feel very bad for you, everyone wants to watch there kids grow up and its a very sad situation you've been put into. Now go score goals and stop whining to the press.

Well considering this entire rumour is based on the fact that he did not go to the team's Christmas party or whatever leads me to believe he is not going anywhere plain and simple.

Its another Rooney payrise ploy.....he was not happy when Yaya became the highest paid player and Cook and Marwood did say they would discuss a new contract at the end of the season.....what better way to force a new deal before the new 50% tax comes this April.

Also have seen reports on CNN that the rumour in Argentina is he was hoping the Owner would side with him on Bobby Manc and replace Bobby with Maradona. not in this city fans lifetime would i ever tolerate that.

If Carlo goes then at least we will get a good price for him and because he has put in a transfer request he gets no transfer payment from us. also his shifty agent Kia loses out on any fee and both he and Tevez lose that £3.5mil bonus they would get if Man city qualify for the CL while he is playing for us.

Personally i think its all agent hype to get a new deal as it does not make sense that Tevez makes a press interview two days after handing in a transfer request.the inteview he is saying how we can win and how he is at City for the long haul. and why would he renew his lease on his home for another two years if he is intending to move?

H8 when players think they are bigger than the club.

Players hold all the cards today, no way we can keep an unhappy player at the club, he'd just infect everything around him.
If he has definitely handed in a request he needs to be gotten rid of as soon as possible.
Making him captain was a huge mistake.

Aren't Tevez's 'problems' associated witht he fact that HE was shagging a 19 year old whilst his long-term girlfriend and mother of his two young daughters stayed at home?

I believe so. Isn't that why they left england in the first place? The club have bent over backwards to help him out over this and he needs to repay us by getting his head down and continuing to work his arse off for the rest of the season. We can then revisit the situation in May, but this is his own doing (as is the fact he can't speak a word of the Queen's) and he needs to deal with it without derailing our entire fecking season.
