I have thought for a long time that Tevez will keep his options open as long as he can, we are like money in the bag for him, he will wait until he has to sign, but if something better comes along he will take that. Indeed yesterdays actions might have been as much aimed at him as Eto'o.

What options?
chelsea are still in it i rekon.
I'm not sure a move outside England can be ruled out, he has the perfect get out, he can claim that he wanted to stay in England but the FA made it too hard, thus he had to leave.

Does he need a get out on moving abroad. He only seems to feel he needs a get out on moving to a Manure rival....

So you think all the reports about the FA going over the transfer are incorrect ?

Why let the likely facts get in the way with a nice bit of unqualified negativity?

First post so appologies if its posted elsewhere, the following is taken from the Tevez website.

10th July 09 - Tevez Transfer Hold Up
Carlos Tevez is having to wait before he can sign for a new club as the F.A. ensure there is no trace of third party ownership, which has been the center of high profile court cases in the past. Carlos was recently quoted as saying he thinks United fans will forgive him if he moved to Eastland's, fueling the rumours he is bound for the blue half of the City.

Carlos is keen to stay in the North West, earlier ruling out a move to Man Utd's bitter rivals Liverpool. The little Argentine has also reportedly enrolled his daughter at a school in the area, which suggests he won't be playing for Chelsea.

Tevez's official site still thinks he is a West Ham player

I must have missed that, when was it a fact that his paperwork was being held up from signing for City because of the FA? Don't get me wrong I think, at the end of the day he will sign for us, but he will drag it along as long as he can get away with it.

That's pure class :D He's basically saying he'll sign for us without mentioning our name, which obviously can't do for what ever reason...
